Janet Hubert, who played the original Aunt Vivian on "Fresh Prince of Bel Air," before she was replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid, was fired from the show over 15 years ago. And she is STILL BITTER about. And let's just say, when Will Smith's name comes up, Janet uses words like big ego, maniac, and a$$hole. Oh.....and she says he has a "need" to have his butt-kissed by his minions.
TMZ reports that she recently told an interviewer,
"There will never be a reunion ... as I will never do anything with an a**hole like Will Smith. He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up. This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn't know the word."
Janet, who blames Will for the way she was fired from the show, has discussed this issue before on TVOne's "Life After" AND her own memoir Perfection Is Not A Sitcom Mom.
When asked about the situation, Will spoke about Janet's feelings for him saying,
"She always thought--'I've been in the business for 10 years and this snotty-nosed punk comes along and gets a show.' No matter what, to her I'm just the AntiChrist."
Think it's about that time to just let it go Aunt Viv....
